worm, malware, warnings from my malwarebytes whenever I run this..

These days all server for free use removed except Netherlands n USA but sadly that two also works suspiciously in last few days everytime I try to connect n search anything my search engine before giving me any result ask me to confirm that I AN NOT A ROBOT......what u guys doing man using bots or something ......see I m not talking about Google search I know it do not like VPN I m talking about Brave search normally ot never ask for such I M NOT A ROBOT CONFIRMATION to give be search result.......see either provide us a safe HTTPS proxy or quit do not play with our trust do not put malware or do not secretly do suspicious works background please

it used to work fine but since last update or last week, the connection keeps breaking! websites don't open at all when it is connected!

First of all, trust me. I AM NOT A BOT!! I have a pretty good opinion of this extension! Remember that I thoroughly test VPNs or extensions before I take them seriously. I use hide.me as an app on my Android phone, which works flawlessly! I have never had the slightest problem. As for the Chrome Extension, the only minor issue I see is that they use several Google DNS servers, but these servers are mainly in the countries whose IP addresses hide.me shows, which I don't see as a significant problem. So, with this small remark, ALL PRAISE! In other words, if you want a professional and leak-free VPN, subscribe to one of the proven good ones, like Nord VPN, ExpressVPN, Surfshark VPN, or another high-quality professional VPN. But if you are an occasional casual user like me, this extension will be more than enough for you! So, all in all, I can confidently say that this is A PRETTY GOOD EXTENSION!

Excellent! Install faultless on my Linux box. Free plan so good, going to upgrade soon.

Rubbish

It says to upgrade now to access all servers. I already have a paid plan, but there are no options to log in on the extension. Even tried connecting/ disconnecting my main hide.mv VPN, and making sure I was logged into the site when launching the extension. No luck.

Last updates broke it comepletely cant even select a country and everything just times out. R.I.P (update: they fixed it now its working properly agian.)

Lost the option to choose between germany and netherlands, awful change please revert. Edit this has since been amended as of 1/25/24

Like its a good web thing but it sucks kinda, you have to get rid of it every time you use it cuz if it stays on your extensions and its off it makes everything so laggy and you cant load anything

Update: 17 August 2023 I used to like this extension when it offered a free Canada location with reasonable speeds, but now with Canada no longer available, I find the remaining two free locations, - Germany and Netherlands - extremely slow. I have therefore decided to downgrade my previous ratings of 4-stars to just 1-star.

I'm a premium user, but this extension needs a desktop application to work. I cannot use all the servers using this extension because there is no login interface.

Very nice free VPN for desktop browser. I use a paid version for my phone too.

It doesn't work and they have the gall to have the whole sign up procedure
